Redfin, yellow belly & carp are some of the species that can be caught around the Boort Lakes & local rivers. Whether you prefer bait or lure fishing, the banks of Little Lake Boort will provide a perfect spot for the serious fisherman or the annual holiday angler.
The Boardwalk Fishing Platform on the east side of Little Lake Boort has also become a favourite fishing spot for many, including families. Others may prefer fishing on the Boort Lakes with their own boat.
The Boort Angling Club holds an annual Carp Eradication Weekend every October on Little Lake Boort with some great prizes.
