The 2018 Pumpkin Challenge is happening again – April 28th, 2018.

Since 1955 Easter in Boort has seen hordes of tennis enthusiasts from all over the state and beyond flock to test their tennis prowess on the delicately manicured expanses of the Boort Lakeside lawn tennis courts. Rolling like carpet to the lush green edges of beautiful Little Lake Boort, this must rank up there as one of the prettiest places to play tennis.

Starting on Easter Saturday and running for three days, the tournament caters for all age groups and all skill levels.

So be sure to register early to avoid disappointment , and spend your Easter in tennis paradise!

A Movie Night at the Lake will be held on the 30th December at Boort Nolen’s Park.

2 movies will shown – one for the littlies & one for the bigger kids, starting from 7:30pm.

Food & Refreshments available.

Gold Coin Donation is appreciated.

Boort Sculpture By The Lake is the metal sculpture competition held at the annual Boort Agricultural & Pastoral Society Show, on Saturday 13th October 2018.

Prize Money totals $4,000 which includes $2,000 to the winning entry. Our celebrity Judge this   year is Moz Moresi, a previous Competition winner, so Moz is not entering in 2018.

So get creative and enter this rural competition, with sculptures of any form made predominantly from metal.

The annual Boort Business & Tourism Council Father’s Day celebrations at Piccoli’s Star Spanner Sculpture Gardens will be held on Sunday 3rd September 2017 from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Enjoy a relaxing Father’s Day afternoon at Piccoli’s wandering around the manicured gardens, filled with John’s amazing spanner sculptures.

BBQ lunch, afternoon tea stall, licensed bar, kids entertainment, coffee van and market stalls.

This event is also the launch of the Loddon Shire Council Naturally Loddon Festival. This will be opened by John Wood. For more details please visit www.loddon.vic.gov.au

Entry is $5.00 per adult and children under 16 free. All proceeds will be donated to the Boort Sculpture by the Lake competition prize money.

The A&P Society Blade Shear Competition is one of the richest Blade Shear Competitions in Australia and is held in October at the Boort Show.

The 131st Boort Agricultural & Pastoral Society Show will be held on October 14th, 2017. With plenty of exciting things happening this year, you sure won’t want to miss it. From the excitement of the Blade Shear Competition or Rob Bast the amazing Wood Sculptor to the fun of Stewart Bryant’s Fire Whips and Professor Wallace’s Puppets. All of our favourites will still be there from the Horse events & Dog trials to the Animal farm and the beautiful pieces in the pavilion.

The Annual Boort Christmas Festival is held every year in early December.

So come along & enjoy late night shopping, stalls, kids activities, craft activities, face painting & a visit from Santa.

Boort Music by the lake will be held at Nolen’s Park on Saturday 28th January from 5pm.
